Having grown up in East Grand Rapids and then raising my own children in Ada/Forest Hills with horses and many different animals, I’ve watched Grand Rapids grow from a medium-sized town in the midwest to a thriving metropolitan area. Because I thoroughly enjoy being able to share “my” Grand Rapids with others, I developed a passion for selling real estate when I was a young mother raising my kids.
Now, after having been an active member of the Grand Rapids Association of Realtors for over 35 years, I continue to be committed to providing the best possible service to my clients. I enjoy working with buyers as well as sellers and still sells homes “from cottages to castles and everything in between.”
I’m proud to have been a founding partner of the first Keller Williams offices in Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo and to have played a role in the recent expansion of Keller Williams Realty into Holland and Grand Haven. I’ve watched our market center grow from its original 8 agents to almost 150 agents today. In 2009, Keller Williams grew to become the 3rd largest real estate company in the nation and our market center was voted the #1 real estate office in Grand Rapids through a readers’ poll taken by Grand Rapids Magazine.
I feel that I’ve been fortunate to work with talented people who have helped our group become one of the most professional and high-producing teams in Grand Rapids. My husband GL Brown, joined me shortly after Keller Williams was opened in 2000 as a licensed agent. Around the same time, Bev Ponchahar became our Office Manager/Licensed Assistant/REALTOR®. Then, in October of 2005, Amy Vissman came on board and added another licensed agent to the group. We now have 4 licensed REALTORS® in our group.
As a real estate agent I believe that honesty with clients is incredibly important because you become a part of the lives of the people you work with. With 4 licensed REALTORS® in our group, I’ve put together a dynamite team that can handle all your real estate needs.
